1. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni robot vacuum-mop is the most recent in the Ecovacs line of hybrid robot vacuum mops. This model that is wet-dry is fitted with the company's upgraded AIVI 3D 2.0 lidar system that offers better mapping and obstacle avoidance. The system is equipped with dual laser LiDAR, which is similar to that used in self-driving vehicles. It can scan a space up to 32 feet across by the 270-degree angle. This results in more precise mapping and faster response times and higher cleaning accuracy.

It also has a rotating mopping mat made of chenille. This makes it much easier to scrub hard spots than conventional mops. In my tests the X2 Omni washed its pad in less than a second and then got to work. I noticed that it was more accurate than other models, which seemed to follow the grid of rooms. It was able to navigate the corners and edges of my rooms as well as make "Zambani patterns" both in and out of the middle of the room. It also returned to its OMNI station on a regular basis to empty the trash bin and clean the mop using hot water prior to starting another clean-up job.

The X2 Omni is just as simple to use and set up as other Ecovacs products. Place the dock in its place then plug it in and connect it to your home WiFi network. It takes only some minutes. You can then launch the app to start your first cleaning project. I was able to dive into the settings and customize my floor plan in about 15 minutes, including creating zones that are restricted for sweeping and mopping, reworking my wall-mounted furniture placements, and more. The X2 Omni performed admirably during my tests. It scored high in the areas of pet hair removal as well as debris removal, and had near-perfect results for edge and crevices cleaning.

2. Deebot T10 Omni

The ECOVACS T10 Omni is a powerful mopping and vacuum cleaner. However, the Deebot T10 Omni is a fantastic robot vacuum that delivers outstanding results in our tests for pet hair. It was able to remove more than 96% debris from our hardwood floors. This is a fantastic performance. It also did a fantastic job on carpet and tile and tile, getting rid of more than 90% of dirt and other debris.

This robot vacuum and mops has a large docking system that allows for automatic cleaning with cool water for the mop pads. It also comes with an auto-emptying 3L bag that's easy to replace, and hot air drying for fast and simple maintenance. It also has a large water tank that allows for frequent washing and drying between mopping runs.

Like other mopping machines, the Deebot T10 Omni comes with a wash tray at its base, which rinses and dries the mop pads when it uses them. However, it doesn't have an open tray, which means that dirty water dust, dirt, and other grime gradually builds up in the bottom of the tray over time.

3. RoboVac X8 hybrid

While the Anker-owned Eufy is well known in the field of robot vacuums This model is the first foray into the world of mopping. It has enhanced intelligence, multiple map support, LIDAR scanning and twin-turbine technology that adjusts automatically to the type of surface you're cleaning. It's a tempting mid-range robot vacuum cleaner although it can't quite deliver on its promise to be the ultimate source for floor cleaning.

The X8 Hybrid appears to be a standard robotic cleaner from the top. It has a circular shape with the sweeping wheels, as well as an elevated sensor. On the opposite side there's a motorized floorbrush and a single side brush that moves dust away from the edges and into the main artery of its' mouth.' It's a little smaller than the main brushes on the competing iRobot Roomba S9, which I discovered makes it easier to fit under chairs and sofas.

The X2 Omni is an excellent choice for homes that have a a mix of hard carpet and floors, but it requires some advance planning to avoid getting stuck by electrical cords, toys, or other obstacles that might be unexpected.

This robot did well in our tests on hardwood floors and food particles. It ate everything from one rice grain to several dog food pieces with only one swipe. It had a bit of difficulty transitioning to carpets, however, in general, this vacuum cleaner is perfect for large rooms with different flooring types and a mix of pets.

It's a bit expensive however, if you are able to manage the price, this is a great option for those who want to be able to leave their homes hands-free to go about other tasks or take care of chores. The A4s Pro has a convenient auto-cleaning mode that boosts suction to take on the most difficult spills or dirt. It also comes with a battery powered ElectroWall to set boundaries for the robot.

This budget-friendly choice from a popular upstart brand is the most affordable robot we've tested to date and offers an incredible value for money. Its navigation system is based on a very basic random pathing algorithm and robot vacuum mops it's not equipped to map rooms. This renders it less efficient than other models in this list. However it's still able to reach under furniture and in corners, and its mopping mode was very effective during our tests it picked up pet hair and other debris effortlessly.

5. Shark iQ

Shark's iQ may not appear as sturdy however it is superior in removing pet hair from all surfaces. It does a better job of cleaning carpets with low piles as well as floors that are not covered. It also uses the smart-pathing software for better mobility. It can be sent to a specific location, and includes a variety of advanced automation features including no-go zones and schedules. It even lets you pause and resume the cleaning process which is ideal for households with pets.

Its self-cleaning brushroll prevents tangles with pet hair and other debris, and its self-emptying dock station can store up to 30 days of dirt prior to needing to be empty.
